Sometimes life can be a series of contrasts. Take this trip for example.
We found out that there are plans to have tigers at Peak Wildlife Park.
There was no cake available.
But the plus sides far outweighed the negative (for there was only one). There were lots of fabulous club members there supporting a worthy cause, socialising, having fun and taking some great photos. The animals were fabulous and free and the staff are fantastic-friendly, helpful and informative.
For the sake of the club I sampled some of the other food from the cafe and it was all excellent so don’t let the lack of cake put you off.
Peak Wildlife Park isn’t far away, it’s not expensive and both the owners and staff deserve support. Go, and then go again. And hopefully have cake.
