Rocking on the Roaches

With warnings of thunderstorms as the two day Summer finally broke, someone made the decision to go on the planned trip to climb some rocks in the windiest place for miles. With the alternative being a cosy night in with drinks and biscuits the choice of getting wet and possibly losing a member or two was a no brainer.

As it turned out the decision was pure genius….though I say so myself…..

Just after we arrived the rain stopped, the sun came out and a very pleasant Summer evening ensued. If you haven’t been to the Roaches, go, now. Seriously. A wonderful local attraction with fantastic scenery, the chance to see some amazing birds of prey and a slight chance of seeing wallabies; honestly!
