Twas a lovely evening at Tittesworth Reservoir as some of us headed onto the car park confronted by a sign saying the car park would be shutting at 8pm…. We were assured by Patrick that we would still be able to get out as there was a sensor on the gate but, as it happened, it was still open anyway. Maybe they wanted to make sure we left! Lucky for Patrick though!

Despite Steve Brown’s reappearance we managed to behave ourselves quite well and there was one point in a bird hide that we were actually all quiet at the same time…not sure that has ever happened before! Despite this unusual quietness the birds weren’t exactly performing pirouettes for us and seemed to be taunting us as we could hear far more than we could see.

The second hide gave a better view of The Roaches so we took to doing landscapes instead before waiting for an amazing sunset. We are still waiting. All in all a great night with great company. And some great pictures as well as you can see below.
