A tongue in cheek poem for the festive season….
All I want for Christmas is a Canon to shoot my friends
I don’t want the best camera because I don’t like my friends
I thought about having a Nikon
But I’m not cool enough
I thought about having a Brownie
But I’m too square for that
I almost bought a Sony
But they’re full of Nikon parts
I nearly bought an Olympus
But they’re all Greek to me
I’ve never thought the best, would be suitable for me
I had a Betamax video so I looked quite a fool
I bought a Sinclair C5 and felt a real tool
And so I want a Canon because Nikon won’t suit me
I’ve just bought a fancy gadget
That plays cassettes on the move
Apparently it’s dead modern
Just like the latest Canon
So all I want for Christmas is a Canon to shoot my friends
Though that’s not strictly true
I don’t have any friends
