You can park on the large carpark at the side of the hill – it says student permit holders only but that does not apply to evenings. If some of you have mobility limitations or something heavy to carry with you (e.g. a telescope) then you will be allowed to drive up the single-track (called “observatory walk”) to the door of the observatory bulding on top of the hill.
Thanks to Claire we are off for an evening with a difference as we visit Keele Observatory for some stargazing and hopefully touching on astrophotography. The observatory is booked just for us.
