SUMMARY:Birds of Prey Night
DESCRIPTION:I have booked us in here again! We will get the chance to photograph birds in flight as well as sat in natural surroundings so this is an amazing opportunity particularly as it will only be open for us. My favourite bit from last time was getting in with the animals and getting up close with them and I’m sure something similar will be going on this time. Other people enjoyed having their hats whipped off by some of the birds. \nThe venue is the KIngsley Bird and Falconry Centre\, postcode ST10 2BX and is near Cheadle. \nOf course there is a cost for this one as the money goes towards the upkeep of the birds. Cash on the night please. If there are more than 10 of us…and surely there will be!…it will be £25 each\, less than 10 and it will be £30 per person. I’ll check with the committee as\, in previous years\, the club has donated £10 per attendee towards this and let you know. £15 for a private flying display….can’t be bad.

SUMMARY:Triptych Night
DESCRIPTION:Tonight is all about tripping up small people or….. \nWhat is a triptych? It’s a type of three-fold art that is typically hinged together as carved panels side by side. The artistic works compliment each other with similar subjects or a relatable message. Many early triptychs started showing up in religious gathering places as altarpieces and could be folded up and easily transported. \nPhotographers have also grown to appreciate the triptych style\, using it to arrange three of their images within one frame with clear borders between them\, or by using a separate frame for each photo and mounting them on the wall next to each other. Triptych photography might involve taking one picture and splitting it into three different parts or shooting three separate photos that are related. \nSo\, three photos\, together with them being relatable to each other. This could convey a message\, an emotion\, a word or a story. YOU decide. I shall be concocting a short introduction and showing some examples before we have a look at the ones you will have submitted by this time….you can get thinking now though……
