With a model in tow the plan A is to tether Stephen’s camera to the projector so we can see on the big screen what he is seeing through his viewfinder. DESCRIPTION:Yes you asked for it and so we are going back! \nGauntlet will be pulling out all the stops for us this evening as we have our own private flying display\, birds of prey situated specially for us in photogenic settings and indiginous species such as kingfisher for us to shoot. People have got some fantastic images when we have visited here previously so tonight will\, I’m sure\, be no different. The centre is open just for us so they will know you are Willfielders when you turn up. Usual times but try and be there before 7pm if you can. \nThe actual cost should be £25 per person but the club will subsidise you each £10 meaning you only have to pay £15….bargain!! Visitors are invited to attend the court of King Penda and encounter a range of characters including an ambassador from Kent\, a soldier\, a princess and craft workers. A leather-worker crafts items while you wait\, epic storytellers will share exciting tales of old heroes and a shaman can cast your (Saxon) fortune for you. Will there be a fight? DESCRIPTION:Willfield Camera Club is absolutely delighted to have been asked to work with the Potteries Museum alongside their current exhibition of the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize exhibition. The 43 entries will be displayed at the entrance of the exhibition\, so it is free to see them and both the public and three judges will be voting to give four winners. \nDate to be confirmed\, but it should be there before by 26th April. \nAbout the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2015\nOn display at The Potteries from February 27 to June 5 2016 \nOn loan from the National Portrait Gallery this exhibition features award winning entries from their prestigious annual photographic competition sponsored by Taylor Wessing. SUMMARY:An Elizabethan Travelling Theatre Company
DESCRIPTION:To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare this special event looks at how his plays were performed at the time. Set in 1600\, this group portrays a travelling theatre company composed of an array of characters from the period. Watch the rehearsals and performances on stage from well-known excerpts from current plays\, including Romeo and Juliet and the battle of Agincourt from Henry V. But perhaps the most excitingly of all\, when not on stage\, the group invites you to visit the tiring area to meet the players and experience life with a travelling theatre. You may see them preparing for the next performance\, learning lines\, making and mending props and costumes (try them on)\, cooking\, eating\, gambling or quarrelling about anything and everything. \n413
