If some of you have mobility limitations or something heavy to carry with you (e.g. a telescope) then you will be allowed to drive up the single-track (called “observatory walk”) to the door of the observatory bulding on top of the hill.\n\nThanks to Claire we are off for an evening with a difference as we visit Keele Observatory for some stargazing and hopefully touching on astrophotography. Not available online and only available at Willfield Camera Club. t&c probably apply but we’re not sure exactly what they are. \nIncluded in this offer we have one Rob\, of the Dulson variety and a Tony of the Finney type. Rob will be doing a short photo quiz and then Tony will be doing a presentation on famous sporting photographs. \nWhich ties in splendidly with our guest speaker who is Peter Hooper. Peter is working with the City of Sport programme and producing a book of sporting stories from the city which you can have a look at here. Peter is looking for pictures to illustrate the book\, which is hopefully where we come in. Learn more about this exciting project as Peter gives us a quick insight into it. \n346

SUMMARY:Trip to Ingleton Waterfalls Trail
DESCRIPTION:Today we are going here: \nIngleton Waterfalls Trail in Yorkshire. \nThis will be a shared vehicular experience or make your own way there. We will meet in the cafe at the start of the trail at 10am. If you want to come and need a lift or want to share with someone let Glyn or Claire know and we’ll try and sort it out. \nEntry is £6 and the full circuit is over 4 miles although you don’t have to do it all. Walking shoes or boots advised.
